In the bathroom, all people lock the door. At a certain time, this room is a place where a per- son is completely alone. The bathroom was a place of hiding and escape for me as a child. I locked the bathroom door to escape unpleasant looks, time, and certain situations I didn’t want to face. For everyone, the bathroom is a place they don’t want to share with anyone. The bathroom is a place of bullying during school hours and it is also a place where people badmouth others. Workers take their cell phones and hide in the bathroom to catch their breath for a while. Also, the bathroom is a place where people style their makeup or their hair to show others their perfect look. Thus, the bathroom is a space where such small things are done and it is perhaps a moment for these people, of which others should not notice. The exhibition space of the Flämische Straße is set around prostitution and contains images of naked women and obscene words, resulting in mysterious environment.

Im Badezimmer schließen alle Menschen die Tür ab. Dieser Raum ist zu einer bestimmten Zeit ein Ort, an dem sich ein Mensch komplett allein befindet. Das Badezimmer war für mich als Kind ein Versteck und Fluchtort. Ich habe die Badezimmertür verschlossen um unangenehmen Blicken, der Zeit und bestimmten Situationen zu entkommen, denen ich mich nicht stellen wollte. Für alle ist das Badezimmer ein Ort, den sie mit niemandem teilen möchten. Das Badezimmer ist während der Schulzeit ein Ort des Mobbings und es ist auch ein Ort, an dem Sie über andere lästern. Die Arbeiter nehmen ihre Handys und verstecken sich im Badezimmer, um eine Weile zu Atem zu kommen. Auch ist das Badezimmer ein Ort, an dem wo Personen ihr Make-up oder ihre Haare stylen, um anderen ihr perfektes Aussehen zu zeigen. Dadurch ist das Badezimmer ein Raum, in dem solche Kleinigkeiten gemacht werden und es ist vielleicht ein Moment für diese Personen, von welchem Andere nichts mitbekommen sollen. 

Der Ausstellungsraum der Flämischen Straße ist rund um die Prostitution angesiedelt und voll mit Bildern von nackten Frauen und obszönen Worten, wodurch sich eine geheimnisvolle Umgebung ergibt.

화장실에서, 모든 사람들은 문을 걸어 잠근다. 화장실은 어릴 적 내게 숨고 도망치는 장소였다. 불쾌한 표정, 시간,마주하고 싶지 않은 상황을 피하기 위해 화장실 문을 걸어 잠갔다. 모든 사람들에게 화장실이라는 공 간은 그 누구와도 공유하고 싶지 않은 장소이다. 학창 시절 왕따와 괴롭힘의 공간이기도 하며 친밀하지 않은 타인에게는 털어놓지 못 할, 지인의 흉을 보는 곳이기도 하다. 직장인들은 잠시 숨을 돌리기 위해 핸드폰을 가지고 화장실로 숨기도 하고 그곳에서 타인에게 완벽한 모습을 보이기 위해 화장을 고치거나 머리를 다듬는다. 화장실은 그러한 자질구레한 것들이 이루어지는 공간이며 어쩌면 남들에게 들키고 싶지 않은 순간이다. 

전시공간인 FlämischeStraße 는 홍등가에 위치해있다. 벌거 벗은 여성들의 사진들과 외설적인 단어들로 가득하다. 아주 외설적이지만 그렇기 때문에 동시에 아주 비밀스럽기도 하다.
